Is this a self-portrait of Sol Tanne or is it a portrait by another artist, probably a colleague? I consulted Eric Levine, who shared a studio with Sol for many years. Eric feels that this is most likely a self portrait by Sol, based on Eric’s knowledge of Sol’s techniques.
